NoteMate is a web application designed to help students and professionals turn long lectures or study materials into concise, easy-to-review summaries. I built it to solve a problem I personally experienced, spending hours rewatching recorded lectures just to extract key points. NoteMate uses AI-powered summarization to process YouTube videos or uploaded files and automatically generate clear, structured notes.

I developed NoteMate as a full-stack application using FastAPI on the backend and React on the frontend. The backend handles AI integration and file processing, while the frontend provides a smooth, modern interface for uploading content and viewing summaries in real time. I focused on clean UI design, quick performance, and scalability to handle large transcripts efficiently.
