BookWorm

Project Overview

Bookworm is a full-stack web application that lets users organize, review, and track the books they’ve read or want to read. I've always enjoyed reading and read a lot of books, so I created an application that helped me keep remember the books I read. Bookworm allows users to log books, rate them, write notes, and track their reading progress all in one place.

I developed Bookworm with a Node.js backend and React frontend, connecting to a PostgreSQL database for secure and scalable data management. The backend handles authentication with JWT, book data, and review storage, while the frontend focuses on a clean interface for exploring and managing entries. I emphasized usability, and smooth CRUD functionality throughout development.
